    I bought this ski for my niece. She is 16 and completely freaked out when she opened her Christmas gift. Like calling friends, hugs, kisses, the works. From a teenager. Totally freaked. When we went to the mountain that weekend (I was visiting in Vermont) she actually did ski really really well on them. I'm not sure if it was the technology or the fact that her friends were all jealous, but her confidence was definitely boosted and I am now the coolest member of our family. Points to REI and Roxy!!
