Comments about Gordini Down Gloves - Women's - Special Buy:

I bought these to take on a family hiking/camping trip to S. Texas. It actually gets very cold in December - 20' and 30's - but even on the few 40 degree evenings with strong gusts, these gloves were iffy. The shell repelled moisture well enough it seemed from the one day of wearing, but that was not nearly a good enough reason to keep them. I faired better with a thick pair of fleece gloves for actual warmth, the disadvantage being of course that they were not waterproof. I returned these after finding they just were of no use in terms of insulation. Unfortunate.
