    Bought to layer over mid-weight long sleeve..and be casual as well. full zip up is convenient, and this under a shell is great. I could have gotten a medium instead of the large(average 6' build), but I wanted something I could layer under plenty. .keeps me warm by itself as well of course, and about the thickness of a fleece coat, not a typical puffy coat...
