The colorful Bogs Classic High insulated rain boots will keep kids' feet warm and dry in wet conditions.
- 4-way stretch neoprene uppers hug feet comfortably and are covered with rubber for complete waterproof protection
- Neoprene also acts as an insulating layer and is comfort rated to -30°F
- Heel tabs and built-in handles make for easy entry and exit
- Nylon linings reduce blister-causing friction, manage internal moisture well and dry quickly

Bought 2- one for a 6 year old boy and one for a 4 year old boy. The boys couldn't wait to wear them in the rain. They held up well in the puddles with lots of splashing; no need to change socks when we arrived back home:)...I cannot wait to see how they do in the snow and -30 weather.

Delivery was prompt and the items arrived well packaged. REI's website had made an error on shipping estimates, but REI has great customer service and the problem was resolved!

Bought 1st pair 3 years ago for my then 3 year old. That pair was used by him for one year, by my next child for one year, now onto my 3rd child! I keep buying for my oldest and handing them down. On 4th pair!!! (oldest now 6). My kids use these daily from October through April and they have worn great for me. Good for rain and warm enough for hours of snow play too. My kids can put these on themselves starting at about 2 years old! Helpful when trying to get out the door with 3.

We live where there is a considerable amount of snow and snowmobile 3 miles to get from our house to our car. We love these boots in the deep snow, and also when spring comes they are unstoppable in the mud. These are a great all purpose boot, very comfortable and very warm! Our whole family owns a pair and will continue to buy as our kids continue to grow! You cannot go wrong with these boots!

Purchased for my 5th grade son. Live in Michigan. Was fed up with rainboots that slit apart, and seemed hard for my son to run around in during recess (not supportive enough). Also, we get a lot of wet snow and mud here. These boots worked for both winter & rain & mud conditions. I could see that my son could move around much better than in the "typical" style you'd get at a box store. They are well worth the price & seem durable to pass on to my younger child. The "handles" were no problem. They make it easier to carry them & put on. I will buy nothing but Boggs from here on.

We purchased my first pair of boots last year and it lasted approximately a year. The heels wore out too fast, the heels were showing the blue lining. REI gladly exchanged it. I have been wearing my second pair for about 3 months and now I have a leak in the toe area and the heels shows considerable wear. I will be returning them back. I also ordered 4 pairs of bogs for my 3 and 5 year old. The two pairs for this year and 2 pairs for the next season. I returned all 4 pairs back to REI within the first month of purchase. The boots were the right size and they do not drag their feet when they walk. Both pairs had considerable wear for the handful of times they were used. The heels were worned out and would not last another month. [...]When the boys wore their BOGS boots they had a lot of compliments. Now they are wearing different boots and they were asked what happened to their Bogs, I tell them NOT to buy them because they are poorly constructed and will not last!

We bought these for my 4 year old son after he outgrew his last pair of rain boots. We expected two summers out of them and maybe be able to hand them down to the younger son, like we have with his other rainboots. But they wore out within the first summer! The sole is soft which might be fine for playing in the mud, but they are too soft for jumping in the puddles in the sidewalk and street. They wore out too quickly.
It would have been nice if they didn't have the handle holes either. They were'nt needed for pulling the boots on and they effectively lower the boots water-resistant height.
My son did think they were confortable.

We bought these boots for my daughter's school field trip. Our usual warm weather had turned cold and VERY wet! We went out the night before and found that these were the best available. My daughter walked around in the cold rain all day (6 hours, she is 6). She came home just as happy and perky as she could be! She said a lot of her classmates shoes were wet but her feet felt great!

I panicked when I saw the weather report the morning of my son's cub scout camping trip in Nov. Rain! Rain! Rain! I ran to REI where I bought the size 5 kids Bogs boots & had my son try them on at lunch time. It rained all Friday night & Saturday morning. Boy was I glad I bought them! Most kids had hiking boots where the mud was coming up over the top. My son's feet stayed warm & dry.
We live in Southern CA & my son continues to wear these boots in all the rain we've been having. Can't stop a 9 year old from jumping in puddles!
