Comments about Bogs Classic High Insulated Rain Boots - Kids':
My children have gone through about two sets of boots per season, but these boots are well worth the money. They last forever. As an extra bonus, they work excellent as snow boots.

Comments about Bogs Classic High Insulated Rain Boots - Kids':
I have wide feet and I usually wear size 7 1/2 or 8 in womens shoes. I was able to fit into womens size 8, but bought a pair in size 6 instead since they're a little cheaper and fit the same. I've never heard of Bogs until REI's anniversary sale this year, when i saw a pair of purple ones on the shelf for 30 bucks. I decided to try them on, just for fun, and I instantly fell in love with them. I ended up buying these in black at regular price. They're warm, they're roomy so my toes don't squish together, the sole is soft and comfy, they're easy to walk in (compared to other cheap plastic rainboots), they're okay for driving. It has been pouring here in Seattle and these are amazing! I wear them to the grocery store, when i walk the dog...haven't gone on any heavy adventures in them yet, but i steppted into a few deep puddles (to test for any leaks) and my socks and feet stayed dry :) the handles make them easy to slip on (i wear them over my jeans). my sister is in college and she walks around campus in the rain so i bought a pair for her as well. She's usually a size 9 womens, and i bought a pair of Bogs in size 9 for her.

Comments about Bogs Classic High Insulated Rain Boots - Kids':
I am an adult with size 4 ladies feet and couldn't find waterproof boots anywhere. I found these BOGS in a kids size and they fit great. Most kids shoes just don't fit right or are not supportive enough but these fit well. I'm glad I found them. I wore them non-stop for 5 days in marshes and on a rainy flooded island and they worked great. Usually a kids 2 - 2.5 is a women's 4 but a 3 fit well. When I arrived home they were great for the snow as well.

Comments about Bogs Classic High Insulated Rain Boots - Kids':
Our 6 year old uses these for fishing in all kinds of weather and they are absolutely terrific boots. He can walk a long way in them comfortably because they fit so much better than other rain boots. The sole is super-supportive but not stiff and clompy like most. They provide good traction, and they have been really durable. They keep his feet very warm even if his feet get wet (which is important - see below). On several occasions when he and I have been fishing in the spring or fall, I will be freezing by the time we get back to the car and he will be toasty, especially his feet. My one complaint about these boots is that the hand holes - which do make them somewhat easier to get on than would little loops like many boots have instead - substantially reduce the depth of the water that can be slogged through without it running into the boot over the top. If the kid is using these mainly to slop through puddles and mud then this wouldn't be a problem at all. But the way we have been using them on numerous occasions the extra couple of inches of clearance that they would have if those hand holes weren't there would have made the difference between wet feet and dry feet. Fortunately, the water warms right up inside the boots, so his feet have stayed warm despite being wet. But dry would be better. I wish Bogs would make a version of these without the handle holes. Despite the hand hole drawback, these are still by far the best kids' boots we've found for our purposes and when he grows out of these (that'll happen before they wear out) we'll get another pair. If your kid is going to be walking a lot in cold, wet conditions, these are definitely worth the money.
