    This hat is great! I wore it in Hong Kong in a spring downpour - that is, really heavy rain but also warm and humid. Wonderful - no problem getting hot and sweaty, kept all the rain off and much easier to see that a hood! Also wore in Taiwan in freezing cold on the top of a 3500m peak - wonderful, warm and covers my ears! Also wore on the way down in the sun - it was 20+ degrees C but I forgot my sunhat - and this hat was also fine. It's now in my pack every trip - long , short, hot, cold. Incredible.

      I love this hat, in fact, I'm wearing it right now while the heat kicks on at my house. It's comfortable, fits just right (not too tight, but not loose at all), and is waterproof and windproof while also breathable and warm. I wore this hat in heavy snow while skiing and it kept my head (& goggles!) warm & dry.
