      I have tried several slippers over the last 8 years and finally found the Sorel Falcon Ridge slippers to be perfect. Easy to stumble out of bed in the morning and slip right into these babys. They're very comfortable and the wide opening keeps the heat from building up. I wear them inside the house all day long.

        I'm very particular about how shoes fit and have been searching for a comfortable pair of slippers to wear around the house and in the yard. I thought I had found the perfect slipper with the LL Bean "Wicked Good Slipper" - comfortable but it bowed out on the sides of the foot (and a wide width was TOO wide). I decided to try REI and read the other reviews (all good), so I tried them. Fit great in the store and to my surprise, it translated just as well at home. Normally I shy away from this style of shoe because it doesn't stay on the foot when walking, but these actually function better than any mocassin or traditional design I've tried.

        REI's 100% satisfaction guarantee makes this a no-brainer if you're searching like I was for the "perfect slipper". REI's staff are well versed on all the products and were very helpful. Kudos for my new shoe source!

        These slippers are so comfortable I've worn them to class, to dinner parties, and where ever else I think I can get away with it. My only complaint is that they have stretched out a little and are not as snug as they used to be. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get them back to the way they were I'm all ears.

          I really thought twice about buying these because of the price. I even bought another pair of similar slippers at a discount store in the same mall, then tired them both out. The Sorels won - by a HUGE margin.

          Here's why I'm keeping these:

          * COMFORTABLE - Put these on and your feet think they're in heaven!
          * REMOVABLE FOOTBED - Gives added support and insulation. But can also be washed separately when it starts to stink.
          * GREAT ON STONE AND HARDWOOD FLOORS - The original reason I bought these was to give my bare feet a break from walking on the hardwood and stone floors where I live. They do that superbly.
          * EASY ON/OFF - You really can get in and out of these without using your hands. And it doesn't matter if you have socks on or not.
          * REAL SHOE BOTTOM - Though they're great around the house, you can also walk outside with these because they have a "real" sole (instead of fabric or leather, which you can't wear outside).

          Only comment: I normally wear a size 10, and I had to buy a size 11 to fit properly.

          Anyway - save yourself the hassle of trying to find something cheaper and just get these. They're the most comfortable, versatile, easy-to-wear slippers you can find.

            Have needed a pair of house shoes for awhile, and these came in my size. I wear them so much, I have forgotten I had essentially sandals on and have worn them to church (sssh!) and out to dinner. That's how comfortable they are and how well they fit my feet.

            these have to be the BEST slippers ever made. if you've ever owned a pair of l.l. bean "wicked good" slippers you'll fall in love with these as soon as you put 'em on. they're more ergonomically correct and more comfortable. the rubber outsole is pure genius! you'll never take them off!!
