No problems with color here

I purchased this item in red size 2T for my son, and we use it all the time and wash it a lot and have had no problems with color bleeding or fading, unlike the other reviewer. My son wears it instead of a jacket in spring/fall weather, for camping or as a sweatshirt on cold winter days around the house. The fit is pretty true to size, but it's a bit snug/fitted, so if you have a robust child and want loose fitting, you may want to order one size up. I also like it that the sleeves are plenty long.

Watch out for bleeding color!

I was so excited to buy this product for my 9 year old. I usually don't pay over $20 for a fleece top, but liked the color (red), and the style. My son loved it too. He wore it to school, and when he took it off, his shirt under had turned red! The color rubs off so easily that I could rub it on a piece of paper, and the color would come off on the paper. We did not wash it before wearing, but I'm sure it would have ruined the items washed with it. He also chewed on the edge of the sleeve (as some kids do), and it created a huge hole from a tiny bite. Material seemed a little flimsy, not very durable for kid use. If you still want to try it out, you may want to wash seperatly, and be careful what it comes in contact with. This problem may exist only with the red. Also, look at the tag on the inside of the collar. Mine had turned red - maybe a clue of what was to come.
