I just ordered these, tried them on, and am sending them back. The fabric is great, I love the idea of the vents. Unfortunately, there are no pockets, and the waistband on the size large is huge with almost no elastic, just a skinny little shoelace-type string to tighten to fit. I don't think a smaller size would fit comfortably through the hips, however, for running or snowshoeing.
