        I will first say that I love the band that I received, but it is not the one that is pictured. The band that is pictured is the Bertucci 2-ply nylon band that has the metal eyelets. The 2-ply band is supposed to be thicker and have the ring that secures the extra length of the band. The band that I received is the one in the DESCRIPTION, the Bertucci DX3 Field Nylon. This is a great band, durable, clean looking, and comfortable. This band is different from pictured however, as it does not have the metal grommets, and it has a different system for securing the extra loose end. Check the Bertucci website for this, it is a great band, it is just different.

          Bought this strap as a replacement for a broken strap on a Swiss Army Infantry watch. Was worried about the fit at first, because this strap is thick! Got it on with no problem though.

          This is a quality strap that will last for years. Wasn't aware of the Betucci brand until getting this strap, but am now looking at their watches because I'm so pleased with it.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I bought a Bertucci watch and while the watch is great, I'm actually more impressed with the band. I wear it while working outdoors. After 5-6 weeks of heavy perspiration, the watchband has no odor. And, it's holding up remarkably well. Great band!
