DC Judge boots return for 2009 with a complete aesthetic redesign and new performance features. Upgrades include the Boa™Focus lacing system, articulated cuffs and internal ankle braces.

  • Custom-designed Boa Focus system provides enhanced closure and fit; features separate zone-specific tightening in the upper, forefoot and instep regions
  • With a simple twist of the knob, Boa retracts loose cable and minimizes closure turns ensuring an ultra quick, secure closure
  • Delta liners feature lightweight foam construction and a front lacing system with reinforced lace locks; 3D molded J-Bars help eliminate heel lift
  • Uppers feature foam-lined calf pads and cushioned heels; adjustable internal ankle braces secure liners to boots
  • Rip-and-stick power straps secure feet down in liners
  • Plush 3D tongues with seamless construction match the natural curvature of the lower legs and feet and prevent pinching and hot spots
  • Lightweight injected EVA midsoles provide cushioning and reduce overall boot weight; carbon fiber shanks are integrated in to the arches to increase support
  • Functional sole design provides good traction on the snow

          I've been through 3 boots in three years, the Judge Boa being the third set. 2 seasons ago I was going though the 'roughing it' of tying my laces over and over in a set of Burtons. I decided to graduate to a DC Boa the subsequent year, which made things convenient, but the tensioning was never normalized across my foot.. I frequently found my foot to have a lot of movement in the boot, while my leg was being severed of all circulation as I tried my best to adjust..

          This dual-boa setup just works great for me; I won't be replacing these for next season. Very comfortable, and have worn well so far. I wear a 12.5 shoe, and my best fit was in a 12 DC.

            These boots felt great. I have used other brands but won't look back now. These feel like they have superior cushioning and comfort over the competition. Great boot, great price.
