Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
I ride all year on the roads ofLancaster county, pa, and dressing appropriately keeps me on my bike. Feeling cold is always (for me anyway) a drag, and I never hesitate to buy new bike clothing, if my old stuff seems outdated or worn out. My arm and leg warmers were getting long in the tooth, and when I saw the Pearl's on sale, I bought a pair of each. They are thoughtfully designed and fit well. The leg warmers have convenient zippers at the foot, and the contour design seems to help fit and feel. If you are accustomed to pulling your leg or knee warmers on and positioning them over your shorts, you will be disappointed because they will not stay in place and will slide down your leg, leaving you with an annoying and unacceptable tug of war. Put the warmers under the legs of your shorts, and the rubberized elastic band (on my Pearl shorts) grips the warmers and keeps them in place. Both arm and leg warmers are, in fact, warm, and the leg warmers are generously long, so they cover the ankle well.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
I could not for the life of me keep the leg warmers from slouching. They continually fell down below my knees despite the gripper elastic on my shorts. The warmers would benefit from their own gripper elastic

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
While the product is thicker than oother brands and really does keep the leg warm, there is not enough elastic/non slip grip at the top of the leggings to keep them on. I was surprised that at this price range that feature would not be included. So I found them slipping repeatedly while walking and riding. At one point only one leg slipped down so far it came out the bottom of my pants!
So, while I think its a great concept, and while I think they initially felt so so so comfortable, they just need to perfect that one aspect. If there can be a non slip grip elastic at the top, then these would be perfect!!!!!!! But not this go round....

Pearl Izumi always seems to be a step ahead of other companies in terms of quality. These are great for marginal to cold days, and they are sewn well with top quality material.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
It works OK to keep you warm BUT it wont stay on unless you stick it under your cycling shorts. Even then you need to work hard to get it to fit well enough so it doesn't end up bunching up behind the knees. A bit disappointed.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
I ride between w.seattle and downtown almost every morning and having a leg warmer that keeps me warm in the morning yet is easy to take off when I warm up is great.
These are great in every aspect except one problem, they would not stay up. I would tuck them under my riding shorts and they still would slip down to my knees!
I really wanted these to work but they wouldn't so sadly I took them back.
Shame on you Pearl Izumi for teasing me with something that I really need! :(

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
Just wore these for the first time after coveting them for many weeks and finally putting my dividend to use. I love them! I biked 20+ miles in 38-40 degree weather with these and my bike shorts. Got home and I'm cold/red above the line of the leg warmers, and perfectly cozy below. I never felt hot during the sweaty parts of the ride and certainly felt warm enough on the breezy sections and as the sun went down. They didn't slide down at all for me (I put the top under my bike shorts, but they still didn't seem to move at all). I got mediums, which are a bit long for 5'4" tall me. Obviously I haven't tried these in a variety of conditions, but for today's slightly breezy high 30s they were perfect!

These warmers work great. Have used them for 25 mile rides and never have to pull them up. I use them under my shorts and they stay in place. I have a 32in inseam and purchased a size large. They fit perfectly. My legs stayed warm but not hot.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ThermaFleece Leg Warmers:
I commute about 4 miles one way everyday, they stay up and are warm. I bought 1 size smaller because of other reviews about slippage. They don't bind and I can wear them over my shorts. I've ridden at 40º, I'm not sure about lower temps, but they are plenty warm without feeling hot or sweaty, they actually feel comfortably dry. I'm 5'6" and the Small length is slightly higher than mid thigh, good overlap over shorts.
