Comments about Pearl Izumi Slice ThermaFleece Cycle Tights - Men's:
I commute by bike to downtown Los Angeles and received these tights as a gift a few months back. After finally working up the courage to wear them in public, all I can say is that these tights rock! When I leave the house its a chilly 40 degrees F, but with the Slice tights I barely feel the cold, and after pedaling for 20 minutes or so, I warm up quite nicely. The construction is first rate - good thick paddding in the chamois, well finished seams, nice padded area between the thighs, and sturdy zippers. I fall in the Clydesdale range, (6'1" - 205 lbs.), but the large fits true to size, with plenty of give in the crotch and waist. They really do feel like a second skin. I wouldn't recommend these at temps above 50 degrees as they do tend to warm up pretty quickly, but in cooler weather, they are hard to beat. Expensive at [$], but worth their price in warmth!

Extremely warm even when the mercury reads 22F while commuting to work - worth the coin.

very comfortable, and warm down to low 40s with booties and long sleve jersey. (I have not used it for any rides in colder weather yet).
