      I have the short sleeve version of this same shirt, in several colors. I LOVE it, and am about to buy one in long sleeve, because I was too late in the year to buy the short sleeve. I finally had to get rid of my light blue one, because, after 5 years, I finally wore it out, but the others that I bought in 2007 are still hanging in there. I wear these shirts to work in, doing massage therapy. I wash them twice a week and they retain their shape better than any other shirt or blouse I have ever owned. The length is perfect, as I am 5'8" and it never rides up over my pant waist, which over the past few years, has gotten lower on my torso, due to fashion trends... PLEASE don't stop making this shirt!

            I am always looking for shirts and other tops somewhat longer (my kidneys always feel cold). I am happy I found it. Perfect length (I'm 5'3") the shirt covers most of my b*. It does not expose the back when I bend or ride a bike, it can be tacked into pants for extra warmth.
            Please do NOT make it shorter next year! I will buy more.

            Fabric is of a very good quality. The shirt is stretchy and has a snag fit, but not too snag, so it it quite forgiving to some body imperfections.

            I love the shirt. I could not imagine that it can be so soft and cozy. If I could I would wear it every day and to work. I have in two colors, green and red. Would like to purchase in others, but the colors available do not fit me. Please ADD more light colors (cream, light blue, light green, grey, or at least redrock orange like you have for the similar V-necks)! Dark colors that you have now fit well to the girls with bold features, but they "kill" those with less pronounced face like me.

              The reviews previous to mine are for the *old* version of this shirt. I too would have given the old version five stars. This new version deserves only a two.

              I've bought these shirts for three winters and I am debating whether or not to make it a fourth. Starting in Summer 2009, REI changed the fabric of the Cozumel short sleeved shirt. I've returned two of those shirts for excessive pills. REI is using this same thinner, sub-standard fabric for their winter line, which is very sad for die-hard fans.

              These used to be really durable shirts and I reach for them nearly every day. The fabric was soft and very warm. Perfect for Wyoming winters. I have at least eight in five colors and the ones four years old look nearly as good as the ones only one year old. Even the cream and white ones.

              If you didn't know the old shirts, you'll probably be okay with these. But for us fans, this new version doesn't meet the grade. They look great for only a short time.

              Also, I wish REI would go back to the old sewn in label as opposed to the iron on black fuzzy ones they're now using on the Cozumel line. Or at least use a complementary color. It's not flattering, especially on the white or lighter shirts.

                Perfect shirt to wear to work, since i work outside. recently went hiking in colorado for a week and wore it pretty much the whole time! perfect thickness. doesn't shrink when washed, doesn't stretch out. great fitted shirt,cozy, and organic!

                  I have two of these in 'caftan,' size small. This is the most comfortable long-sleeve t-shirt I could imagine! It is soft, but has plenty of stretch to maintain its shape. The crew neckline is not so small as to be constricting, and the sleeves taper nicely to the wrist, but can be pushed up easily. And the fabric is thick enough to be concealing, unlike many white shirts. I wish they still had the color 'caftan' available in my size :--(.
