Comments about Metolius Stomp Crash Pad:
Extremely lightweight and comfortable straps. I have not yet bottomed out even after high falls. Fits easily in most trucks or other parts of the car. I've gotten mine very dirty and after the mud drys it wipes right off looking new again. It looks cool too!

Comments about Metolius Stomp Crash Pad:
Great Product. Does its job breaking your fall. No frills crash pad. Fell from some good heights and holds up well.

Comments about Metolius Stomp Crash Pad:
It's nice to have even when it isn't needed for the climb, it makes a pretty good campsite couch. When it is there to catch your fall it'll do the job as long as you land on it.

Comments about Metolius Stomp Crash Pad:
The foam on this one is really dense, which is great on longer falls. Its also pretty thick. A bit stiff on short falls but, lets be honest, no one is too worried about the short ones. The angled hinge makes the center feel solid like a taco style pad, without making it awkward to fold. The price is right too, since its one of the cheaper ones out there. The only thing I could ask for is a couple more loops to pull on when moving it around unfolded.

Comments about Metolius Stomp Crash Pad:
let me say that climbing high balls with a pad is a much more relieving experience. This pad saved me and my friend's ankles (and who knows what else) from 25+ falls multiple times. Comfortable land and durable material, however don't place it on top of thistles. I learned that the hard way. got a couple pokes in it, but it didn't effect it at all.
