I wore these for first time on a day that never saw double digits. Slipped a hand warmer in the glove first thing in the morning and never looked back. The snow guard that tightens around your wrist seems quite small. However, the tightening of the guard as well as the loosening of it is exceptionally engineered. The first layer gloves are great too they have great grip and allows your hand to always be covered. Oh and on my second trip with them, temperature was around 18°f I did not use any hand warmers and my hands stayed warm all day.
