I completely concur with the other review; the jacket is cool looking, functional and well-made. Unfortunately, whoever designed this jacket (or gave the go ahead for production)made it for someone with the arm length of an NBA center's wingspan. It really sucked, I had to return it because I felt so ridiculously stupid on the mountain. I felt like a 7-year old boy who was borrowing his big brothers clothes. I ordered a size M, which generally, 99 percent of the time works for me across the board. No dice with Van's jacket. Even worse I searched feverishly across the Web looking for the same jacket in size S to no avail.

The only bright spot with this purchase, was the fact REI took the jacket back and refunded me, no questions asked.

    Used the jacket a couple of times so far for snowboarding. It's great that it is lightweight and not bulky. It provides a lot of warmth for its size. There are plenty of pockets and other convenience features. Overall, a very good jacket.

    The only thing is that I got a size small but it feels much bigger. I guess it has room for layering even though it's warm enough for me with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath.

    Jacket was delivered earlier than expected in perfect condition. The packaging was good and the item was well protected.
