While stainless may be the new BPA-free thing to do, this bottle just does not hold liquids in securely. Leaks when tilted. Better for quick short picnics as long as bottle kept upright. if lid was more secure it would be a great bottle.

    I love our klean kanteens. With the wide mouth it is very easy to wash, fill and add ice if you want to. As I clean them, I refill them, and put 'em in the frig, ready to go. I can leave it in my car overnight, all day, and it never tastes funny, unless I had something interesting for lunch :D. I am so happy to be free of plastic bottles. And unless it is a hot day, they seem to stay colder longer than plastic bottles. We have them in many colors so each family member has their own. So far I have only had a bottle leak once, my fault for not secureing the lid.
