      I like the fit of this jacket - not too boxy but not so fitted that you can't move. It flexes with you and is so soft you'll never want to take it off. For a fleece jacket it looks dressier than most and works well for running around town!

          Not impressed! From the moment I put it on, it started pilling! Peices were all over my clothes, and car. What a mess! For the money I paid I would expect something better. I will have to make a special trip 30 miles to return it to the store I purchaesed it from in Tacoma, WA. I will not buy jackets from REI again.

            This is much much softer than your average fleece - I am sort of afraid to wash it because I don't know if it will stay that way. Remains to be seen.

            A nice snug fit, and the fabric is thinner than most fleece jackets so it looks more stylish, but it seems just as warm as other fleece jackets I have owned. I have been wearing it for about a month this fall mornings and evenings in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I think it will do here most of our mild damp winter except on the coldest or wettest days. The dusk color is unusual and great - sort of an unusual watery gray-blue.

              This one's my favorite. The fabric is soft, and it always keeps me comfortably warm in every season. I am ALWAYS cold. I think maybe once or twice I've noticed that the fabric "pillows" as the other reviewer complained, but I suppose it hasn't happened enough for me to complain.

              I've worn it paired with a Marmot shell on weekend backpacks in the mountains (in the spring), and it's kept my core warm in the rain and with the dramatic drop in temperature. I've washed it multiple times, and it still looks new -- and I have the black one.

                The softest & warmest fleece I ever own!!! It has become my everyday to go to fleece! (I have 5 fleece jacket, 6 winter coat). It's so soft, cozy, warm and fits well ( I am a 5"5 and 125lb, M fits perfect, unlike my other brand)
                It's easy to wash, I just flat dry it after the machine (I've washed it a least 10x, and it still looks brand new)
