  • Efficient Schoeller® soft-shell fabric is breathable and wind- and rain- resistant; put it on and leave it on!
  • A soft, bonded brushed lining offers good moisture transfer and light warmth
  • Four-way stretch fabric, underarm gussets and an athletic fit maximize mobility and comfort
  • Windproof to 57 mph; seam-free shoulders help prevent rain penetration
  • Durable Water Repellent finish causes water to bead up and roll off; seam-free shoulders help prevent rain penetration
  • Hood features a two-way adjustment for good fit and unobstructed peripheral vision
  • Full-length front zipper features an inside draft flap with soft lining to protect from drafts and zipper abrasion
  • Hem drawcord and adjustable cuffs seal in heat
  • Zippered hand and sleeve pockets are bonded, rather than sewn, to reduce bulk

      Don't let the goofy teal colored version of this jacket on the model pic turn you off. This is a very handsome piece that you must see in person to appreciate. It looks like REI switched from Polartec Powershield to a Schoeller fabric recently, and the Scholler is very nice: somewhat warmer but slightly less wind resistant than Polartec. The Scholler fabric feels more durable. Compared directly to Arc'teryx SV, and I returned the SV because the styling of the One was superior for an XS wearer (got it in black). The One is a great jacket at any price point, but its price advantage makes owning it that much sweeter.
