They are the same great mid-weight Patagonia baselayer we know and love. I do think all their baby stuff runs really big. So don't buy this too big. My daughter is 12 months and has been fairly true to size thus far. Her long johns are size 6 months and will fit for a few more months. (She also has a puffy snowsuit from them and it too is size 6 months and fits her perfectly right now, but not for long.)

We bought these for my son when he was about 5 months old for his first camping trip, and he is still wearing them at 20 months. They wash well and seem to be comfortable. Although a bit of the large size, they still fit (stayed on his body) throughout his wearing time.
They are more expensive that what I would typically spend for a specialty item, but they also made good pjs.
