    Comments about SmartWool PhD Ski Light Socks:

    I tried the SmartWool racers and these PdD ski light socks. These were my favorite. They were not too hot and not too cold (tested on & off the slopes in conditions from 20F-40F degrees). They are the perfect thickness and very durable.

    I also tried a pair of my wife's SmartWool medium-thickness socks. But if your feet tend to get warm easily, I found that the SmartWool medium are too darn hot.

    All the SmartWool ski socks are fantastic at wicking moisture, and they dry quickly overnight. I have two pairs and would wash one at night and hang it on the radiator in our chalet, and they were always perfectly dry in a few hours.
