This bag is very similar to one that I previously bought from REI. I love it except for one very annoying feature... the zipper on top. The way the zipper/bag is structured, the opening at the top of the bag is nothing more than a "slit". I have to put things in (laptop, files, projects) in one item at a time. Items in the middle of the bag often have to be removed in order to remove the items not in the center. I would highly recommend this bag, however, there aren't any pictures of the top to see if REI fixed the zipper/opening at the top.... no pictures of the top, backside or inside..... I can't tell if they fixed the top or took away the features that I liked.....
