Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
The gloves are pretty solid for cold weather with wind chill down to zero when walking actively. I am pleased with them for driving when the vehicle is still bitter cold and for walking in cold wether thus far - decent wind resistance and have held up thus far in snow and sleet. As always there is a point below which you would switch over to heavier winter gloves, but these are holding up very nicely this winter through temps between 10 and 30 degrees F - maybe down to -10C or a little lower. They are a little bulkier than you might expect if you were looking at them as some trendy glove or for sports car driving, but their range in the cold is better so far than all-leather and feaux leather gloves I've used over the years. They do run a tad tight in the experience of my wife, but we'd both buy 'em again and are using them extensively this winter.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I like these gloves for every day, driving and walking. They block the wind and keep my hands warm. Fingertips are to bulky to text but not to change songs on your iPod.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
These are sized incorrectly, be sure to order one size up or at least try them on in an REI store.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I have poor circulation in my hands so I purchased these to keep my hands warm while driving or walking around outside. They are comfortable and keep my hands pretty warm. They certainly aren't as warm as my ski mitts, but they look great, are thick and of good quality.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I really like Smartwool socks and shirts. This is the second item I've purchased where Smartwool fabrics were combined with other materials with less than stellar results. (The other were Timberline moccasins that fit me poorly). I ordered these gloves in a large as I usually fit somewhere between medium and large. These are a very 'small' large and the fingers are oddly sized. These are too tight to be comfortable or warm. The gloves are overly stiff and the cuffs are also smallish. These are going back.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I like the combination of wool and leather; the wool is quite warm, and the leather allows for a good grip on the steering wheel while driving.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
My wife bought these for me for Christmas. I like to use them for driving/ going out, and cross country skiing. My hands stay warm and they grip the ski poles very well. The top side of the glove is wool so they dry out fast. Very nice glove.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I have been biking with these gloves for over a year now in Seattle, and they have served me well in that time. I commute by bike everyday about 15 miles, and the palms still look brand new, the wool backhands hold up very well against the cold wind and rain. The few times water has managed to come through was the result of a long ride (50 miles) and even then, my hands were still warm...the miracle of wool. Buy these gloves...you won't regret it.

Very comfy and warm, grippy leather palm, and they actually go great with a suit and overcoat.

Comments about SmartWool Stagecoach Gloves:
I bought these last year and they have been great. These are my go-to gloves throughout most the winter here in the Mid-Atlantic. They can be dress-y or casual. The leather and wool are a great combination.
I usually wear them from 10 degrees up to 50 degrees. I think they are very versatile. They show little wear after regular use. The cheap-o gloves I bought off overstock already show wear on the fingers, but these barely show anything.
