Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
I have some good skiing gloves but I needed something less bulky for snowshoeing, driving, snow blowing, etc. These gloves completed all my needs.
They have a good grip so I can use these driving on those cold mornings to work. They are waterproof so they can get wet from any snow activity. They are surprisingly warm but I still don't think I would use these on a cold ski day, but we'll find out later in the year.
They are not bulky at all so they make for some easy packing. And they just look great! I really have no complaints after using these through different weather conditions.

Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
I have the apex shell and needed a pair of new gloves to kick around the cold in, so I decided to buy the apex gloves. They are a bit small...just not small enough to prevent me from buying them. Also, the fingers on the gloves are wayyy too long and it seems like there is a lot of extra material hanging over my fingertips.

Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
I have worn these gloves in alot of conditions now and I have found that they do not breath at all. They do keep me warm though even in 0 degree temps. When I wore these cross country skiing I sweated them out. I did not get cold but the gloves were soaked on the inside. For general winter use; around town and snow blowing they work great and are awsome. The grip on the glove palm works very well. I found them to do well in the water resistant area; they did great in wind resistance too. Yet I have to say: any real work or anything heavy (aerobic) I need something that breathes better. Fit wise I tried three sizes and they all have longer than average fingers. This is at times annoying but they do not get in the way.

Stylish gloves, very snug fit as others have noted.
They are only slightly water resistant, in NO WAY are they waterproof. Once they do become wet they are almost impossible to put back on. I would not recommend for temps below 40F.

Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
At first the gloves were warm and very comfortable. After mild activity my hands started to sweat, and then the comfort was gone. My hands got colder and colder despite continued activity, until it was warmer not to wear the gloves at all. I'm not saying they're a terrible glove. They just don't breath very well.

Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
I bought the mens large gloves, I am a women with a 7 glove size. I worn them the first time hiking in the Superstition Mts in a misty rain for 3 hours. At first they were on the back of my pack on a clip but by the time I got to my destination it was colder so I needed to put them on. The outside of the glove was wet and my hands were wet, I tried to dry my hands as best I could considering the rain. Now mind you I got a men's large which when all is dry they are roomy. I had a very hard time getting these gloves on my hands. The inner material separates from the outer glove itself causing my fingers to go into areas besides the fingers of the outer glove. When ever I took them off to take pictures I had a hard time getting them back on. Other wise they are a good glove.

The gloves have excellent grip and keep my hands very warm. One issues is i have very large hands and i picked up the XL sized gloves. They were very tight but seemed to loosen up after wearing for several hours.

Really nice gloves, not too bulky so they're convenient when walking around outside. They keep my hands nice and warm when I'm walking to and from my dorm to classes. Overall definitely worth getting

I bought these because they were cheap and I was in a hurry. They wouldn't be bad except for after using them a couple of times the liner stiching broke and the liners came out with my hand. I should have known better at the time, but don't ever buy a glove that has a sewn in liner. They always break and you'll never get your hand back in. I returned them.

Comments about The North Face Apex Gloves - Men's:
I regret buying these gloves. The first time I tried to put them on my hands in wet weather I could barely get them on because my hands were already damp and it is very difficult to get your fingers in the fleece liners with damp hands. They are not waterproof at all and not the least bit warm when it's wet out. They soak all the way through even in a light mist. Once your hands are damp, forget about trying to take them off and put them back on. When they are wet, the liners stick to your fingers and pull apart from the shell and it is nearly impossible to get the liner back in the fingers. Bottom line: they are OK for cool, dry weather but if you need them in wet, windy weather they are next to useless.
