The North Face Redpoint can be worn as a water- and wind-resistant shell on mild days or used as a technical midlayer insulator in cold weather.

  • Nylon ripstop outer shell, PrimaLoft® Eco synthetic insulation and taffeta lining offer lightweight warmth and quick-drying, windproof protection
  • PrimaLoft Eco uses a minimum of 50% recycled materials in combination with standard PrimaLoft fibers
  • Elastic cuffs and drawcord hem seal out the elements
  • Features a chest pocket with hidden zipper and 2 hand pockets; hidden key slot in 1hand pocket
  • Standard fit ensures great mobility

      I bought this coat because I wanted something that was warm to travel with, that could be layered, and that would pack down into almost nothing. I was looking at down coats but was convinced by the salesperson that this was a better option---it would pack down better and also wouldn't be a complete disaster if it got wet. I love it---it is very warm (I hate to be cold), very wind-resistant, and it packs into one of it's own pockets. I like the cut--it is somewhat fashionable instead of looking completely like a "backpacker." I am purchasing a waterproof shell that this coat can zip into and serve as a liner---on its own, it is water resistant only. I definitely recommend it.

          This is the best jacket I have ever owned. Seriously. I'm not much of an adventurer but I hate being cold and wet on a winter day. I use this jacket on the weekend as well as on top of my jackets during the work week. It is lightweight, super comfy and kinda stylish. I just wish it had more hidden pockets - but then again, many women's jackets done. I love this jacket I think I might have to purchase it in the white! :)
