      Just came back from a 3 mile jogging in high 30 degree weather with my REI power stretch top and tights. They are so warm and light weight and not restrictive at all! Love, love them. They are not very wind proof but very breathable, which is okay for running. For ski, I would just put on another water resistant layer. The only complain for the top was the size small is a little too big for me on the waist (my size is about 25"). Hope REI makes size XS of them.

      I have been living in this top and the matching tights during our last month of nasty weather here in the NW. I love this top, but I love last year's model more. The fabric is still great, but the sizing is larger and I liked the pocket on the arm better, since with pockets on the back I end up sitting on my MP3 player when doing weights. Regarding wind and water--I don't notice that it is windproof, but if you keep moving you stay warm; as for water if you keep moving you stay warm even if the fabric gets soaked. Overall an excellent product.

        I love this top. I have the pink one, but I'm going to get the black one also. It's the warmest fleece type top I own, and I wear it both hanging around and on walks/runs. It's not really wind-proof, but it's lightly wind-resistant. I haven't tested the light rain resistance yet. The top is very soft on the inside, and it's really cuddly and warm to wear. Definitely, it's one of my favorite tops. Fits well, wears well, washes well, looks great. Love it.
