Ideal for the multiday backpacker, adventure traveler and thru-hiker, this lightweight pack offers superior comfort and solid functionality.

Top-loading main compartment holds food, clothing, sleeping bag and more; removable top lid features a watertight zipper
Large front pocket allows you to stow often-accessed items such as rain jacket, water filter and energy bars
Side compression straps with quick releases stabilize both large and small loads
Side compression straps release and join to opposite side for carrying a snowboard, snowshoes and other winter gear
Features contoured, padded shoulder straps, sternum strap with whistle buckle, and contoured air-channel mesh backpanel that hugs the back
Adjustable load-lifter straps and compression molded hipbelt stabilizes the load; two gusseted and zippered hip pockets carry small essentials

I had and Arc'Teryx pack that lasted me for the last 9-10 years. I loved it. But I have been trying to cut weight lately and it weighed 6 pounds..

So after poking around a lot I bought this bag. I was pretty nervous, because my old pack had LOTS of padding and support, and the UL packs I had tried on so far lacked support.

I took this on an overnight hike with all the normal gear I bring, and it performed GREAT! It is 3 lbs 2oz on the specs, and it weighed in at 3lbs 3oz for me on my home scale, which is great.

This pack lets you have all the basics you need at a really great weight and comfort level.

I haven't had it out enough to comment on durability.
