        Just finished a 300K in horrid conditions, bad weather & bad roads. I'm a "super" clydesdale at 245lbs. Riding on original equipement and have had no difficulties with over 3000 miles on them thus far!

        Bought this wheel to replace the stock Alex wheel on my road bike as the rear wheel was constantly popping spokes. After 9 months and about 1000 miles the rear wheel suddenly went way out of true on a 10 mile commuter ride and is now "not worth repairing" according to my LBS. Disappointing for a wheel with good history. I did not crash or hit any potholes. I'm 6'2, 185 so it really hasn't taken a beating.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          recently put these wheels on a custom steel Shuksan frame and it definitely helped keep the bike light, they have stayed true through daily commutes and longer road rides...not to mention they look really cool!
