Comments about Carlisle Magic Nylon Paddle:
This paddle was recommended to me by my local REI store. I like that it is lightweight and the shaft design easily fits the shape of a hand. The only con I've found thus far is that the little drip rings don't always work. All in all, this paddle is great for what I use it for.

Comments about Carlisle Magic Nylon Paddle:
It worked Good. It tilted so you could paddle against the wind. I used it for a few short trips and it worked fine. Yet on my last trip my friend in a canoe ran into it because it was sitting on the side of my kyak. It put a nice dent in it then I tryed to bent it back and it snaped in half. So at least it was a small lake and I could use the half of paddle. May be no matter what paddle you have you should have a back up.

Comments about Carlisle Magic Nylon Paddle:
I am a beginner kayaker. I like this paddle because it is fairly lightweight and seems to have good balance. I can take it apart for easy transport and then just snap it together when I'm ready to go. It has a slightly flattened, oval shape in the grip area, which reduces hand fatigue and keeps my grip firm. The paddle shape is perfect for recreational kayaking.
