Comments about Arc'Teryx Miura 30 Pack:
Need a working pack to hump tools, water, food and some climb gear. This one keeps the hard gear from digging in to the back. Like the way the main compartment is suited to climbing but had trouble with hauling the bag until I removed the hip belt(contoured). Then I had trouble with the load swinging around. Some compression straps, hydration (bottle outside or bag inside) and maybe some daisy chains would help. I'm 6'0 and the length (size L) was conflicting with my harness and my lid.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Miura 30 Pack:
Very solid climbing-specific pack. It's a versatile bag that's good for everything from the climbing gym, to sport climbing, to a day of climbing involving a moderate-to-long approach. Very comfortable and has many of the bells and whistles that I wanted in a crag pack (zippered side entrances, internal gear loops, etc.). A few small features missing that you typically get with packs - a small daisy chain on the outside in case you do need to clip something to it, a small mesh pocket on the sides of the pack near the bottom to hold trash, and most importantly a water bladder compartment (the pack is designed to work with a bladder, just no compartment tailored to hold the bladder).
Note: if you are going to do a lot of back country climbs or carry a bunch of trad gear, consider the larger sizes of this model.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Miura 30 Pack:
* Great technical pack, as alwasy from Arc'Teryx
* Roll-top closure and dual side zippers are great. You can access your gear in a unique and very effective way.
* Just the right size to fit in an overhead bin, so you could carry-on (I have the 30L) for travel
** Not perfect as your only backpacking resource, but it's darn near perfect for climbing, short treks, and travel.
