These shoes were meant to be used as casual walking shoes in lieu of flip flops and for work for Casual Fridays. These are great looking shoes and I received many compliments about the styling and the color (blue). These definately do the job for Casual Fridays if you are not walking in them for more than 4 hours straight. I took them for a stroll for more than 4 hours and the the shoes did create hot spots on my little baby toes. It was suggested to go a half size up, but I decided to stick with the 7.5. I have no problems with them but if you have wide feet i would suggest going the half size up. The footbeds are great and provided support for the whole day and i like the soles, very durable.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
