Comments about Merrell Sojourn Shoes - Men's:
Really enjoy these shoes. They're super light and comfortable, you can wear them for hours and not even notice. Great for standing around or long walks ( I walk at least 1.5 miles a day with work). Bit pricey but Merrell's usually are, definatly worth every penny. I'm thinking I should buy another pair for when my pair wear out and may not find them again.

This shoe looks good and is quite comfortable. However I would only buy it if you live in a place that does not rain...ever. After walking on damp roads my both of my socks are absolutely soaked. Do yourself a huge favour and get a different pair of Merrells. FYI, I have had many different pairs of Merrells and have loved them all, just not this model.

I am a IT consultant and I walk a lot on hard surfaces. I usually kill a pair of shoes in about 6 months, and I have really easy to blister feet. So far the fit is great and no blisters even when walking 5 or 6 miles at a time. You will like these if like me your foot is a little wide up front and you have a narrow heel with heavier ankle bone structure. These nicely grip my heel and don't slip around, toe box is roomy but still grips the foot nicely around the arch. I plan on another pair in the next couple weeks.

I bought these shoes to use for everyday purposes. They were great during the winter, but as soon as the snow started to melt I discovered that these shoes leak horribly! I walked 10 blocks, trying to stay out of the wet areas, and both my socks were soaked. Not the quality I would expect from Merrell.

Comments about Merrell Sojourn Shoes - Men's:
As a teacher in an elementary school, I'm on my feet all day dealing with spilled paint and nature walks, cafeteria duty and sitting on the carpet--these shoes perform nicely in all-conditions. The waxy leather has scratched easily, but it adds to the ruggedness, I guess. After a full 10-12 hour day, my feet aren't sore or tired from wearing these. I have wide, sort of odd shaped feet and finding comfy shoes is a struggle. Merrell is one brand that consistently works for me. The Sojourn is classier for work than most Merrell offerings. Love 'em!

Perfect for business casual at work. Light, super comfortable and good looking. I understand the less than perfect reviews, but if you're looking for an offroad shoe, Merrell has plenty of more hardcore choices. This is a great work/around town shoe that isn't as boring as your standard dress shoes.

Great looking pair of shoes if you can keep them clean. If you're going to be in a dusty area forget about it. I've been wearing them for about a month and the stiching around the sole is already starting to wear out. I do walk in gravel alot though. If you are going to wear them in the city then I think they will work out great.

Comments about Merrell Sojourn Shoes - Men's:
I love these shoes. I have had them for about six months, and wear them almost every day. They are extremely comfortable, and offer great arch support. They also seem to be very durable, and are holding up well. The only issue that I have had is that my feet get very wet if it is wet outside. The design has exterior stitching that attaches the upper to the sole. This almost seems to wick any outside moisture into the shoe. Even walking across a wet parking lot and avoiding the puddles, my feet seem to get wet. Luckily we don't get a great deal of rain, so I just wear a different pair on wet days. Aside from this issue though, I think this is a great pair of shoes.
