    I recently did the STP and bought these knickers the day before. I was looking for something with a little more coverage than bike shorts, and I like that the material is not shiny like some biking apparel. I wore these for 120 miles the first day and had NO chafing at all! They were a little warm for 85 degree weather, but was so delighted that my "nether regions" were doing so well that it didnt matter. I actually decided to wear them day #2 as well, and again, no chafing! The price tag is a little steep, but given the quality, and that they come in extended sizes (not all cyclists are a size 4!) it was well worth it!
