Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Pad - Petite:
This sleeping pad gave me the best backpacking sleep experience I've ever had! I'm a side-sleeper and have always had a hard time staying comfortable on my thin Thermarest pad. The Big Agnes is much better! I'm not petite but I found that the petite length was just fine for me (I would have bought a regular but they were out of stock). Pack-wise, this takes up less space than my Thermarest and is probably comparable weight-wise.

Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Pad - Petite:
Over the years, I've used many different types of the pads, mostly thermarests (even had one of the original self-inflaters over 30 years ago). I am a side sleeper with some back problems and the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core gives me the best comfort/sleep in a compact package. How many times have you wriggled your sleeping position around some poky/lumpy thing? The 2.5" thickness means I don't feel any of the lumps/rocks/roots that I used to contend with. The trick, as others have mentioned, is to blow it up all the way and let air out to your 'select comfort'. I'm 5'9" and side-sleep with my knees slightly bent so the 5'6" length is long enough for me. One of the best attributes is the small packed size. I lay my wife's and my pad on top of each other and roll tightly to fit into one stuff sack; two comfy pads in one 4"x8" package. This pad works well with the chair kit, inflate/deflate to get your desired chair comfort.

Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Pad - Petite:
This sleeping pad was recommended to me because I sleep on my side – and I am so happy I followed the recommendation! I spend most of the night on my side and this pad definitely gives you the cushion you need to sleep comfortably. I was slightly annoyed with having to blow the sleeping pad up, but the extra time is worth it! I used to wake up with sore shoulders, hips, and back and I haven't had a problem since I've owned it. I haven't been able to perfectly deflate it, but the bag it comes with has a bit of extra room, so I haven't had a problem packing it back up. If you want a good night's sleep while outside – purchase this sleeping pad – you won't regret it!
