Comments about The North Face Isabella Pack - Women's:
I bought this as a backpack for college, and I've used it practically every day for 3 years. It's extremely durable; all the straps have held perfectly, the zippers all still work, and the fabric hasn't worn through. However the mesh has torn a little and the fabric zipper attachments have frayed off.
It's just big enough for a bunch of notebooks and a few textbooks plus a sweatshirt, but too small if you're going to be carrying a larger laptop. The mesh side pockets are also too small for a Nalgene or larger water bottle. This is also an excellent day hike pack. I've fit a 2 liter water reservoir, rain gear, and food in it and the waist straps really came in handy then.
