Arc'teryx Solano is a lightweight shell that sheds moisture exceedingly well and balances wind protection with active-use breathability.

  • Polyester-faced Gore Windstopper® fabric eliminates windchill yet is breathable and dissipates excess moisture quickly so you stay dry and warm
  • Nylon-lined sleeves facilitate on and off and ease of movement; body is lined with brushed polyester to wick away moisture and add light insulation
  • Full-front zipper features a inner laminated windflap; laminated chin guard protects skin from abrasion
  • Features a soft, chamois-lined collar, hem drawcord and elasticized stretch wrist gussets
  • Two zippered hand pockets
  • Athletic, close-fitting cut is thermally efficient and won't inhibit movement

    This is my favorite jacket for hiking, fishing, backpacking and everyday. I've been wearing it for several years now and it is still in good shape. It's light and very warm even in very cold winds. Add a winstopper neck warmer, windstopper hat and gloves and it will take you into very cold climates.
