      I wanted a versatile sandal that would look great with pants, capris or shorts and were comfortable to wear all day with no pain or hotspots.

      I was happily surprised that KEEN had expanded thier line to such sporty styles as this. (Both my husband & I have been wearing KEENS since they came on the market in 2003.)

      I bought the tan Calistoga at the store and ordered a black pair online. I didn't care for the salmon color.

      The sandal is beyond my expectations. I got paint splattered on them at my son's art class and it washed right off with no staining. They fit my foot so well I don't feel like they will slip off. I bet I could even run very comfortably in them. These are perfect for traveling as they are lightweight and are not bulky but give tons of cushioning and arch support (as ALL KEENS do).

      I want to note that Keens footbeds are generous in the instep. Once you find your Keen size, it will hold true in all their shoes. That being said, I tried my normal women's size 11 and then a 10.5. I bought the 10.5 as don't plan on wearing socks with this sandal.

      The styling in the Calistoga is beautiful. You can dress up or dress down with this sandal. It's construction is as rugged as the river sandal but it definately has street smarts. BUY THIS SANDAL!!!

      I didn't particularly liked the look of the shoe on-line. I was interested in the Dansko clogs and the Keen Mary Janes. I was quite disappointed by these two shoes. But I tried on the these Keen Calistoga Sandals and was sold. I walked around the store with them to ensure they were still comfortable before I bought them. I have since been wearing the sandals with socks and or trouser socks all the time, even to work. The soles are great; very comfortable for a pregnant lady. :)

        I don't think they are the prettiest shoe, but boy are they comfortable. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Southeast Asia, but I have been wearing them every chance I get. I only wish I could wear this type of shoe to work. They are a great fit for me.

            I ordered these sandels based on all the positive reviews I read on this site.

            Upon receiving my Keens, I was disappointed when I put them on. They are stiff and easily come off (despite fitting perfectly with my foot size).

            I am purchasing the Keen Venice sandels instead.

              Great sandal for wearing around town on summer days or traveling, especially in tropical climates where keeping your feet cool and comfortable are a must. Just returned from Belize, Guatemala and Honduras and wore them on easy trails, uneven cobblestone streets, around the pool and for easy breakfast-lunch-dinner slipons. The guides said no sandals on some of the trails, but when they saw the toe guards, cushioned construct, they said my Keens were OK. The compliments from other women were great too! Size 6.5 fit perfectly altho I usually wear a 7.

                  I ordered these sandals in a size 8 online. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 - 8 normally. The 8 was a bit too small, so I sent them back and they sent me an 8 1/2 that fit perfectly. These sandals are so comfortable. Just order them a half size bigger than normal, they seem to run small.[...]! 2 thumbs up!
