Comments about Salomon Exit Aero Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I purchased these shoes for a hiking/outdoor activity shoe. I was hoping for a versatile shoe that could be used for many different activities, and was disappointed. I found these shoes very uncomfortable on long hikes, with little underfoot protection. I also found that the soles wear out quickly when worn on pavement, and have a tendency to "squeak" when walking. The uppers have also broken down to the point of looking quite old after 4 days of camping/hiking. I've only had these shoes for 2 weeks, and they are already too worn out to return.

Comments about Salomon Exit Aero Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
My prior shoes started producing 2-3 blisters on each foot, once I incorporated more hilly terrain in my routine. These shoes have the room I need in the toe box to prevent excessive rubbing on the downhills and are snug at the ankle - so no heel rub. In a short time, without diminishing my workout, the blisters stopped. I still want to test the soles on wet boulders.

Comments about Salomon Exit Aero Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I have always loved Salomon shoes and am a big fan of their Tech Amphibians. I have hiked in the Techs almost exclusively for years in all seasons and was looking for something with a little more support but that still drained well. I gave up long ago in trying to keep feet dry and instead now focus on quick dry times.
The Exit Aero is exactly what I was looking for. The mesh drains very quickly, meaning my feet don't stay wet as long as they did with other trail shoes and boots I have tried in the past. Unlike the Tech Amphibs, these don't let in debris and the Exit Aeros offer much more support without the weight and bulk of other shoes.
Combined with wool/synthetic blended socks and a new insert, these shoes are now my favorite. With 500+ miles so far in just a few months, these show barely any signs of wear. The front toe rand is peeling a little and I've had to replace the laces, but if they continue to hold up this well, I will likely get two full years out of these. Even so, I'm buying more pairs now just in case Salomon ever stops making them.

Comments about Salomon Exit Aero Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I have had these shoes for about 6 months, and have only had 1 blister. I have worn these shoes across Peru, New Mexico, Utah, the Grand Canyon, New York City and more and not once have they let me down. Could not ask for more from a shoe! Almost completely waterproof, and fast drying. My only complaint is that these shoes are not the easiest on your eyes...
