Comments about Vasque Summit GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:

I exchanged Asolo boots for these ones and I could not be happier with that decision. I've had Vasque boots before, but I think over the years the Vasque boots got even better!

These boots did not require ANY break-in time!!! They are extremely comfortable, with great cushion on the inside and nice sturdy waterproof leather on the outside. I also like the lacing, it's fast and easy. These boots offer great ankle support, it's a blast going doing the hill in Vasques even though I suffer from knee problems. I also like the traction these boots offer, and did I mention they are completely waterproof?

One downside to these boots is that they are very heavy. If I could find as good of a fit in "day-hikers" I'd wear the "light-weight" boots instead for short hikes. However, for harsh terrains, heavy backpacks, and wet conditions these boots could not be better!
