Comments about Magellan Triton 400 GPS Receiver:
This is one great GPS. Everything on ot works perfectly. The only thing that could get better is the computer software. It took me about six hours to figure out how to use it. Then Magellan's tech support to get the Vantage Point software to recognise TOPO. It finds satlites in less than five minutes most days. Once you figure out how to use it, it's verry easy to tranfer maps over to the GPS from your computer. Over all it's a great GPS. Much better than the eXplorist series.

Comments about Magellan Triton 400 GPS Receiver:
A great GPS with a bit of a learning curve. Definitely read the book first to figure out how to copy maps and waypoints between PC, Vantage Point and the GPS to prevent frustration in the field.

Comments about Magellan Triton 400 GPS Receiver:
The only positive is that it uses Nat Geo maps, which are the best. These things are on sale for a reason. They are junk. Stay away. If you buy it, you will be returning it very soon.

Comments about Magellan Triton 400 GPS Receiver:
[...]Promotional maps contained all the detail I needed. The PC software is easy to use and functionality exceeded expectations.
