    This is a great bag! Years ago I had a minus 20 degree down bag when I was in Boy Scouts. I went ice fishing, slept in 4 feet of snow at an elevation of almost 11,000 feet in January, and was in cold as low as minus 15 degrees. I no longer have that bag, but I can tell this bag is every bit as good and much more so. I have not slept below zero in the Echo, but judging from what I have done, this will be an even better bag than the one I had in Boy Scouts. You will not find many down bags that are waterproof! Wet down is not good, and the manufactures said that it can even be used outdoors in a rain. So far it has been a wonderful bag! Low weight for a minus 20 bag, packs to a very small size, super high loft, and feels sooooo good to sleep in after a day hiking. I don't think anyone that wants a cold weather bag can go wrong with this one!
