Comments about Sierra Designs Arrow Rock Flex +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I've had this bag (long version) for about 1 year. It's perfect for my combination of backpacking, bike and motorcycle touring. Light and packs small (with additional compression stuffsack purchased separately). Great feel to the material - it's a pleasure to crawl into. I've used it below 30 degrees and was warm - but I was in a bivy bag and slept in my base layer tights and shirt.
The Flex system really works well when I want to bend my knees or sleep "fetal" on my side. I do find that I'll spin the bag with me when turning unless I'm careful.
Two things I wish were different: 1) leave the sleeping pad straps off, and 2) SD ought to make a 0 degree version so I could have a winter bag I like as much!

Comments about Sierra Designs Arrow Rock Flex +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
What a great bag! Comfortable and warm. Used the Arrow Rock 30 backpacking on The Colorado Trail. Camped at 10,800. Even though it was a cold/clear night (good frost in the AM) I was cozy and warm.
the "FLEX" stretch system is awesome.

Comments about Sierra Designs Arrow Rock Flex +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
On the plus side the zipper works great with the guards built in. It is a comfortable over-priced sack of feathers, however, it is not comfortable at 30F unless you wear your clothes. Typically the rating is comfort while survival is ten to fifteen degree's lower at least. I would say that, on this bag, Sierra Designs rated this based on survival instead. If you plan on camping in weather that, at night, the temps go much below 40F, I would spend some money on a warmer Sierra Designs or a company that rates correctly.
