I took this bag out at 11,000 feet in late September. With temps in the mid 30s I was too warm and had to unzip to get comfortable. I've had experiences freezing at night and was concerned about the +25 rating, but I needn't have worried. The bag packed down nice and small (a little over football size) and is a reasonable weight.
On the downside, the zipper did snag almost every time I moved it. I also think I might need something warmer to really have a 3 season bag. This is more of an "extended summer" bag at these elevations.
