Comments about Marmot Never Winter +30 Sleeping Bag - Long:
The bag is wonderful, in all ways. it is really soft and comfy. I am 6'3" tall and fit just fine in the long, while still having a few more inches to go. It packs super small and I can use Marmot's small stuff sack, which comes to about 7"x13" (smaller than they say). This really comes in handy because I do bike touring, and the bag perfectly fits on my handle bars with some twine. The weight (with stuff sack) came to 41oz (2lb, 9 oz) which isn't bad either. It performs just as well as my old 15 degree polyfill bag, but I ended up sleeping on top of it during some of the summer nights on the California coast. The next step is to get a nice warm liner. Not only will this lengthen the life of the bag, but I can use it alone during the summer, use the bag alone during spring and fall, and use the combo during the winter. It'll be like having three different sleeping bags!
The only complaint that I have is that it is tight. I'm tall and like to spread out, but hey, this is a backpacker's mummy bag. If I wanted a queen size bed, I should have stayed at the Hyatt.
