Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
Had to write in because I wore this jacket outside, all morning in a major downpour (no umbrella). It was also a mere 40 degrees F outside, at best. I stayed completely dry and warm. I am a solid medium and the jacket is quite snug but in a fitted, fashionable way. I was a bit worried about the snug fit at first but I can still get a fleece jacket or vest underneath for added warmth[...]

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I bought this jacket in preparation for NW rainy days, and unfortunately I'm going to have to return it. It is an ok jacket, but there are several things that just aren't quite good enough. I wore it out once, biking in the rain. I had bare arms and they felt cold and clammy from a bit of sweat, and the cuffs are not adjustable so my wrists were always exposed. The jacket is tight under the arms and I know that it would be too small for a fleece layer underneath to fit comfortably. Other than those two things, it seems ok, but not the right jacket for me.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I love it. It's light enough to wear all the time, with layers or without. It's stylish in an active sense. I've received comments on it from day one. I live in Los Angeles, CA so our weather is not too extreme - keep that in mind when you purchase but I recommend as a staple item. I'm 5'1, average build and the XS fits perfectly. Good luck and enjoy!

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
The jacket is very well made and really stylish. And Logan color is great! However, I am about 5'4" and weigh around 140 lbs. Not thin, but certainly not a huge person. I had to buy an extra-large for it to not be really tight across the hips, which is ridiculous. Usually I wear a medium. Which would be fine, except for the fact that, by the time you get to x-lg, the arms are for an orangutan. And because there is a zipper at the cuffs, it will be too expensive to have the arms shortened, so I'll have to wear the cuffs rolled up. Also, it is very thin, with no insulation at all, so definitely not for cooler weather. I bought it because it is so hard to find a jacket now-a-days that is not waist length and will cover to tops of thighs. Plus I had a good coupon. But I will return it in the fall if I locate a similar one with some thin insulation, so that it is more versatile.

I love the look of this jacket, it's something I will wear with jeans or work clothes. The only con is that it's cut small at the hips. I'm usually a medium and had to go up a size so that I could easily zip it up.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
This has become my favorite coat here in the rainy Pacific NW. It keeps me dry and is stylish. It is slim in fit, and works best with light layers underneath. This coat would not work well with bulky sweaters/layers underneath. I get compliments on it every time I wear it.
