Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
No question, the best goggle I've ever used. Opening day A Basin was a blast!!

Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
I bought this goggle purely based on the reviews on REI.com. I was willing to pay near top dollar for high quality goggles (skiing is too expensive to have your day bogged down with poor equipment...particularly when it comes to your vision!) and my Zeal goggles were great.
In heavy snow and very poor light conditions these goggles did not fog and visibility was better than any other goggle I've yet to use (I have yet to test them in truly bright light however). Additionally, with a long bridge of my nose, very few goggles seal well below my eyes. The Zeal goggles however not only sealed well below my eyes but also felt very comfortable even after wearing them all day. The goggles are light and the flexible carbon fiber makes them feel like they could fair well in tough crashes.
The only con I would say is that I wish the strap clipped in the middle and was looped through the sides of the goggle. Instead you have to clip on either the left or right side. Clipping in the middle of the strap would make the goggles easier to put on in some circumstances (like over a helmet).
Note: I believe the distinction between the "Detonator" and the "Link" style is that the Detonator is slightly larger. I had to dig around on the web to find this information.
My understanding is that Zeal is a relatively new company but they'll be around for a while if they keep making products like this.

Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
This is by far the best goggle that I have ever worn! The Optics were second to none and the photo chromatic feature allowed me to ski all day without having to swap out lenses. The goggles were very comfortable and worked well with my helmet. I am a fan for life!

Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
These are great. I have a big ol' head so most goggles are too small for me. (These are a *little* bigger than average - but not enormous)
In addition to the size, they are amazing. The UV auto adjust is very responsive. I don't see a reason to ever need multiple lenses with these. I've only used them 5 times so far, but each day was very different (cold, warm, dry, very humid, etc.) Never fogged.

Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
Sick of all the previous goggles fogging up I decided to actually go out and purchase a high end goggle to see if it would make any difference. So far, one seasons worth of wear and tear and no problems what so ever. The goggle actually does what it says. They perform great in sunny and white out conditions. Plus after you purchase these through rei you can trade in your old junk pair of goggles for a $xxx credit toward another Zeal product through Zeal. (Kinda helps with the high cost of these). The only cons I would give is that they aren't that stylish and tend to be a little wider than most goggles. But, the performance of these goggles more than outweighs this minor con.

Comments about Zeal Detonator PPX Polarized & Photochromatic Ski Goggles:
Goggles are great. Incredible optics. Very comfortable. High quality. My only complaint is that there is not a strap buckle. I have a helmet with a visor and the lack of a buckle makes the goggle difficult to pull over the top of the helmet. For helmets without visors this shouldn't be a problem.
