Comments about REI Light Runner Ankle Socks - Women's:
These REI socks are surprisingly uncomfortable; they have no elasticity or stretch. After a few strides, the socks slips into the heel of your shoes; very annoying. I stopped wearing them for jogs and walks. I tried wearing the socks just around the house, but because of the lack of elasticity, I still feel like I am wearing my kid's socks (I wear a size 7.5 - 8 shoe).

Comments about REI Light Runner Ankle Socks - Women's:
I don't like socks that strangle my ankles, so this sock is just right. They don't slip off either. I have gotten one blister from the seam on the toe during a 5K, and I can feel it sometimes, but that's the only thing I don't like. Smooth that out and you'll have a winner.

Comments about REI Light Runner Ankle Socks - Women's:
I love the feel of the socks, but with the higher back on my workout shoes, it continually pulls the sock down inside my shoe. I'm going to try the longer sock because i love the feel of this one.

Comments about REI Light Runner Ankle Socks - Women's:
I've been training for my first marathon and have run many road and cross country races. I wouldn't dream of running in any other sock but these. No bunching, no blisters, no slippage - and I'm talking 20+ miles at a time. Even xcountry, no issues. I replace them when they get too dingy because I've never had a pair wear out on me. I only wear them for running.
