We mingled functionality with ecoSensitive™ materials when constructing the sturdy REI Slickrock pants for all-season comfort.

  • Plated fabric blends the soft, breathable elements of organic cotton on the outside with smooth and quick-drying recycled polyester on the inside
  • Toxic pesticides are eliminated in every step of the growing process of organic cotton
  • Post-consumer recycled PET polyester is tough enough to endure the daily grind
  • Plenty of storage in 2 front pockets, right hip key pocket, 2 cargo pockets with mesh sides and 2 back pockets

      I tried these pants on in the store and and they didn't have my exact size (32x30), so I ordered them. They fit very well, and very comfortable, and look good to boot. The front slash pockets are nice and deep, and the zippered pocket on the right leg is great for stashing a credit card and some cash if you don't like carrying a wallet or want some extra security. Overall, I'm very pleased with these pants and will probably buy another pair.

      I ordered these and they were in my hands within a week, which is incredibly fast considering where I live. They were packaged very well and arrived unblemished. As always, REI held up their end of the deal!

        As a 40-something still taking my hockey with the boys very seriously, I have maintained large thighs and need or at least prefer casual pants with a very full cut to take the workload off my jeans. These pants are sharp-looking, well contructed and efficiently designed with nice pocket placement. So if you are looking for a casual, mid-weight pant to hike or camp in and still where to church, then these rock. If product development at REI is reading this, please add the very versatile "stone" or "sand" color to the offerings...Please!!!

          As a member of medical response team, I spend a lot of time in the Gulf States chasing hurricanes. These pants are great for hot, humid conditions. The cargo pockets are great for stashing small items, but, as others have also commented, the front edge of the pockets pop out and tend to catch on things. The pockets are tearing away from the pant legs.
