    It really bugs me when people leave negative reviews for products because they simply didn't use them properly. "Tent" or "cabana" type crates such as these are meant to be used for dogs that are 100% crate-trained. That is, they are happy and content when in the crate and aren't going to try to dig or claw or climb their way out. No crate of this sort will hold up to a destructive dog or untrained puppy. This one is a nice enough model, and the additional door on top can be handy with smaller dogs (although for big dogs having a door on a short side and a long side instead of on the top would make more sense).

    I was very pleased with the ease of setup and takedown. Unfortunately, it's just not very robust. Our Mastiff puppy was able to punch his head through the top and force the zipper open. It's a single zip, not double. There is no way to secure the zipper end. But even so, the zipper is so light duty that it would probably just bust anyway. One good chew through the side zip and it's now ruined anyway. I'm glad I got it on sale!

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
